"I sent the eggs to Robert Lemaitre who divided them up among team breeders and made all the attached photos.
"Also thanks to Robert and my son Didier for the English translation. Thanks in advance for the publication."
"Actias (gnoma male x luna female) hybrid with the help of team breeders: R.Beck, H. Evin, G. Flutsch,P. Guivarch, R.Höge, S.Kohll, E.Legrand, A.Marson, J.-P.Pagnon, F.Renner and J.-C. Tavernier. Natural coupling was obtained between an A. gnoma male coming from Japan, and an A. luna female from California, using an unreachable calling A. gnoma female. Both species are a second generation 2007 breeding. Every breeder used liquidambar as a foodplant. We finally obtained male and female pupae. Female ones are presently stored in a cool place, and are in a diapause stage."
