DISTRIBUTION:
The Adafroptilum kalamboensis moth
(wingspan: males: approx. 57 mm; females: probably larger)
flies in southwestern Tanzania near the southern
tip of Lake Tanganyika along the border with Zambia and in Zambia RM.
FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:
Moths are on the wing in ??
Adafroptilum kalamboensis larval hosts are unknown.
ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:
EGGS, LARVAE, PUPAE, COCOONS:
Eggs are deposited
Larvae probably descend the host plant at pupation time and spin up
a thin cocoon at the base of hostplants
