DISTRIBUTION:
The Adafroptilum tuberculatum moth
(wingspan: males:60mm; females: 46-50mm) flies in
Zimbabwe.
FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:
Moths have been observed on the wing in January, April and
December, suggesting at least two broods.
Adafroptilum tuberculatum larval hosts are unknown.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE, PUPAE, COCOON:
Larvae probably descend the host plant at pupation time and spin up a
thin cocoon at the base of hostplants
