DISTRIBUTION:

Micragone moxicoensis (wingspan: males: 58-71mm; females: 76mm // forewing length: mm), flies in
Angola: Moxico; and in
Zambia: Salisbury and probably Kafue.

This species was originally described as a subspecies of Micragone ansorgei.

Micragone moxicoensis larvae possibly feed on Berlinia globiflora, Berlinia paniculata, Brachystegia spiciformis, Cercis and Julbernardia paniculata.
