DISTRIBUTION:

Nudaurelia michaelae (wingspan: males: approx. 103mm; females: probably larger) flies in
Cameroon.

Thierry Bouyer equates this species with Nudaurelia anthina. If they are synonymous, anthina has precedence.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

The Nudaurelia michaelae moth probably flies in the months of December-January and possibly at other times.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE AND PUPAE:

Mature larvae pupate in subterranean chambers.
