Ground colour is brown ochre, more reddish on the insides of the undulating lines.
The forewings are fairly falcate. The am line is bordered with silvery-grey, and the pm line is well marked. The median area is chestnut brown. The cell has one vestigial "point of light" and three dark spots.
The hindwing has a rounded outer margin and is elongated at the anal angle. There are two or three vestigial "points of light" surrounded by a lighter ochre.
