Jean-Louis writes, "All the moths are coming from the city of Franceville. This is a small city in the south-east of Gabon, about 800 km from the capital Libreville. We are about 100 km from the border of Congo, Brazzaville.
"There are only 30 000 inhabitants (All the country has 1 500 000), and an area of 295 000 km2 (Half of France).
"I work in an International Medical Research Center (Centre International de Recherches Medicales de Franceville - CIRMF), and our research center is near a savannah and jungle. So it's easy for me to search butterflies and moths. There is some picture of Franceville in my Flickr site."
Many thanks to Jiri Zabokrtsky for directing me to Jean-Louis's site.
