% Adeloneivaia isara occurs only as the odd straggler from Mexico into the Peloncillo Mountains in Cochise County.
& Hylesia coinopus occurs as a rare stray from Mexico into Santa Cruz County.

John Angelo Cencioso confirms Antheraea oculea from Flagstaff, Arizona (Coconino County), with this image of a female, taken on July 8, 2003.

Don Ehlen writes, "I can confirm oculea from the following counties:
Santa Cruz Co., Pena Blanca Lake, 31 July 1997 and 5 August 1997;
Santa Cruz Co., Parker Canyon Lake, 7 August 1997;
Pima Co., Santa Rita Mtns., Florida Canyon, 5 August 1996;
Cochise Co., Chiricahua Mtns., Cave Creek, 8 August 1997."

Joel Szymczyk (August 5, 2003) writes, "Friday night (August 1) at Harshaw, we saw TEN species of saturniids:

Automeris iris, Automeris patagoniensis, Automeris cecrops pamina, Antheraea oculea, Anisota oslari, Sphingicampa hubbardi, Sphingicampa montana, Eacles oslari,. Citheronia splendens, Hyalophora columbia gloveri, and 15(!) species of Sphingiidae. The big trophy was a Proserpinus terlooi. Actually a 'small' trophy!

"Saturday night at Box Canyon, at my two light rigs, I saw SEVENTEEN Hyalophora columbia gloveri, all males. The sheets were "cluttered" up with Eacles and Citheronia, and we had recorded eleven species of sphingiid before 2130. It was really kickin' there. all the gloveri came in between 0200 and 0430."

Russell Witkop collected adult Hemileuca tricolor on March 7 and 8 in Sells, (Pima County) Arizona, on Highway 86. Moths were still flying at 3:00 am.

Russell also collected Hemileuca electra clio larvae 2-3 instar near Payson, (Gila County) Arizona, 3/6/04.

Non-member Becky M. reports Automeris cecrops pamina in Payson, Gila County, confirmed with a picture.

Becky writes, September 9, 2004, "I live in Payson AZ. Which is Gila County. It was crawling up my back door."
