DISTRIBUTION:

Antheraea semperi noeli (wingspan: males: approx. 123mm; females: 147mm) flies in the Philippines. It was originally reported as endemic to Mindoro, but Ismael and Marie Lumawig indicate it is also present on Panay, Luzon and the Visayas. They may or may not?? have it confused with nominate semperi.

(Etymology: named after Noel MOHAGAN, who collected the taxon on Mindoro.)
