DISTRIBUTION:

The Cricula jordani moth flies in
Laos;
Vietnam; and
Thailand.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Larvae will probably accept fruit tree foliage: apple, cherry, pear. Both Mario Ioppolo and Alan Marson have reported success on Rhododendron.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Females extend a scent gland from the tip of the abdomen to call in the night-flying males.

Males use well-developed antennae to track the airbourne pheromone.
