DISTRIBUTION:

Salassa parakatschinica (wingspan: males: forewing length: 57mm; females: mm) flies in
northern Myanmar: Kachin, Chudu Raji, at elevations around 2800m.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

There are apparently flights in July-August and possibly at other times. Larvae will possibly accept Salix (willow).

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE, COCOONS AND PUPAE:

Larvae spin loose cocoons near the ground amongst loose debris.
