From Buru Island the following Saturniidae are reported: Attacus crameri, Antheraea rumphii, Cricula trifenestrata serama, Syntherata innescens, Neodiphthera buruensis, Samia burica, with Antheraea rumphii buruensis being synonymized with the nominate subspecies. There is probably another Antheraea species from the helferi group.
