Those species listed by Lemaire are followed by a *. Those added by Manuel A. Balcazar Lara are followed by MBL. All of the Ceratocampinae and Hemileucinae are from Dr. Balcazar-Lara's lists.
As a result of DNA barcoding analysis, many new Saturniidae species were described by Brechlin and Meister and others, especially in 2010 and 2011.
Many of the new names with data are published on the Global Mirror System of DNA Barcoding Analysis website. I indicate those additions
with Mi for Mirror website or B&M for Brechlin and Meisters.
I have ordered the Entomo Satsphingia journals (2010-2011) from Frank Meister, and I will do further updates on the new species files when I receive the
journals.
I will not be posting the images from the journals, but will use the images to post my own descriptions and will use the journal images to identify and post images
that WLSS and others send to me. It is my hope that in the next several years I will be able to update most of the new species files with digital images. Your
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
