Ryan writes, "Today I had a beautiful male Buck Moth hatch. These pupae are
from New Orleans where they are common. The pupae were kept
outside in an aquarium (if you recall I asked you about how best to
house them this past summer) so they have been exposed to everything
except heavy rain. This is a moth I have always wanted to see. Shorty I
will put him in my crisper so that way I can prolong his life for any
females that fail to attract wild males in the next week or so. I just
wanted to share the pictures with you."
It is great to get high quality images to show local and regional diversity! Thanks, Ryan.
