Please be sure to read individual species/subspecies files as there are many cases where those species/subspecies in the list are recommended as synonyms of nominate subspecies. Many thanks to Roger Kendrick for his help in preparing this list. Roger has also provided images from Hong Kong.

Actias heterogyna
Actias selene ningpoana
Antheraea pernyi note 1
Attacus atlas
Loepa katinka note 2
Loepa sikkima
Samia wangi
Saturnia pyretorum
note 1: Single record may be an escapee. A second Hong Kong wild caught Antheraea pernyi was taken in February 2007 at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden - the site of the release on A. pernyi eggs impregnated with parasitic wasps to control the lychee stink bug. Can't rule out accidental introduction of this species.
note 2: This may actually be Loepa kuangtungensis

Saturnia pyretorum fifth instar, courtesy of David L. Mohn, Hong Kong.

David L. Mohn reports that Saturnia pyretorum is common in Hong Kong.
