I will begin taking breeding stock out of cold storage in early May (started May 7 and May 12). Saturniidae begin flying here last week in May. You can follow what is happening by going to 2002-01 Diary in the Specialty section on the site.
**********COLLECTOR'S CORNER:*********
Many thanks to Clive Pratt of the Insect Company which hosts our site. The Insect Company is a supplier of fine quality specimens to collectors, etc.
Clive is currently based in England and will probably begin offering livestock in the near future. Yeah!
Visit Clive's Site, The Insect Company, at
http://www.insectcompany.com/insectcompany.htm
for an extensive selection of dried specimens.

I have recently added 37 new images of African Saturniidae from museum technician Frans Desmet, Royal Museum for Central Africa, Leuvensesteenweg 13, 3080 Tervuren, Belgium, mostly Bunaeopsis and Gonimbrasia and Gynanisa

I am also in process of acquiring checklist of African Saturniidae from Thierry Bouyer who acknowledges the list is far from complete and subject to revisions, but at least it is probably the most comprehensive list available.
