Canadian livestock sold out very quickly this year. Nothing is left for shipping within Canada. I only have my breeding stock for next year.
In the US, all Sphingidae and Ceratocampinae are sold out except for a small number of Pachysphinx modesta pairs from Colorado at $15.00/pair, and there are some Eacles imperialis pairs at $18.00/pair from Alabama.
We still have cocoons of the following species: luna and polyphemus reduced to $5.00/cocoon, io, promethea and cynthia all at $5.50/cocoon; cecropia at $7.00/cocoon. The modesta pairs could be shipped with the cocoons for one shipping fee of $9.00.
If you wish to order imperialis, they would be shipped separately from the other species, and there would be a separate shipping fee for them at $9.00. I believe there are also probably two Heraclides cresphontes pupae that could be shipped with the imperialis.
Imperialis pairs that were shipped earlier are all from Ohio, so these new imperialis would provide a fresh gene pool.
I would have to check, but there may be some additional male regalis still available, but no females. The extra regalis males would be shipped separately as well.
Christmas is coming, and I do have what appears to be an oversupply of luna and polyphemus cocoons. The luna and polyphemus are reduced to 5.00 each for small orders of less than ten, to $4.75 for orders of any combination of ten or more luna and or polyphemus and to $4.50 US for any orders of any combination of 20 or more luna and or polyphemus. Donations are not required to maintain your standing as a WLSS member, nor do they gain you any preferencial treatment with regard to livestock and/or supplies (sleeves), compared to other WLSS members. All WLSS members get first crack at my annual offerings and get an approximate discount of 10% as compared to non-members.
I do usually ask donors if they have any special requests for information on WLSS, and I try to accomodate when appropriate or within my ability to do so.
