Hi All,
It is October 19 as I begin typing this note. I was so busy with home renovations and storm-downed trees that I did not get around to posting an October Newsletter

As soon as I get his page finished and posted, I am going to begin sending the following pricelist to all US WLSS members:

Please speed up my processing efforts by providing the following when you email me back with your order:
1) provide your complete name and shipping address;
2) specify species and quantities of each desired; note the pupae will likely be sold as trios, so specify how many trios;
3) indicate your payment method: Paypal which will cost an additional 4.5% due to Paypal transaction fee; personal check; cashier's check;
money order.
I will fill requests coming for WLSS members first, before I begin to respond to requests from non-members, but if I have anything left that is not spoken for as of November 27, I will begin to confirm non-member orders. I know that I have quite a few non-member requests but I have already told non-members, who will be paying 10% more, that members will have first crack at whatever I have.
If you are in USA and have good quality extra livestock of any North American Saturniidae pupae or cocoons or Sphingidae pupae that you would be willing to sell to me at wholesale prices please let me know as soon as possible. Many of my usual suppliers have had some problems this year. I am especially interested in cecropia, promethea and imperialis.
Thanks for your interest.
Bill Oehlke
I will be travelling to and staying in Maine, November 11-13-14 to visit and open and inspect packages of incoming cocoons and we will begin shipping cocoons November 12. Many thanks to those who have responded to requests for help in providing additional cocoons, especially cecropia. Many suppliers had difficulty this year.

Usually I do not post images any longer in the newsletter unless they are of North American species, but cannot resist posting this image of a live Automeris goiasensis below. This marks the first time I have seen an image of a live specimen of this species, and I believe it may be the first reporting of same from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
