Here are verso images of female Adeloneivaia jason specimens from Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
Adeloneivaia jason females are relativley large with most specimens in 100-115mm wingspan range, but specimens as small as 81mm and as large as 123mm have been reported. This species can be found in both rain and cloud forests, usually at elevations from 400-1600m.
The forewing pm line is straight, distinct, but fades as it nears the inner margin. There is no fw am line. There is a thin black dash on the outer cell wing vein, with lower half of this dash being darker and wider.
The hindwing ventral costa is greyish and only slightly humped near the body. Often there is just a slight curve to the costa rather than a distinct hump. The hindwing pm line is dark, thin, distinct, preapical and fades to almost non-existent just below the cell.
