ADELOWALKERIA OF THE WORLD

ADELOWALKERIA Travassos, 1941

Members of this genus belong to the Subfamily Ceratocampinae of the Family Saturniidae.

Larvae pupate in subterranean chambers and adults fly in South America.

Females have simple antennae and rounded forewings; males have triangular forewings and hindwings are usually lobed. Forewings usually have two-four white spots, with caeca being an exception.
