Auroraia eophila fifth instar, Los Ceballos, Cordoba, Argentina,
January 1, 2011, courtesy of Nigel Venters
Eggs are generally oval and whitish to brown with a black micropyle. Larvae have urticating spines of roughly the same length over the entire body with a pair of two small paranal scoli. The small, single-walled cocoon is sturdy, usually leaf-wrapped, and houses a short, stout, smooth pupa with a short cremaster.
P indicates an image is available. The first country listed is the specimen type locality.
