I did some digital repair to the outer wing surfaces of the specimen depicted at top of page. The large white blocks of fringe, particularly on the hindwings, remain intact and distinguish this species from C. brunnae brunnea.
This moth was elevated in 2011 to full species status by Brechlin and Meister. It was originally treated as a subspecies of Cerodirphia radama.
The male, depicted below, has a discal "y-pattern" consistent with that of Cerodirphia radama consaepta, but it seems to lack the large blocks of white fringe which serve to distinguish that species from Cerodirphia brunnea brunnea.
