Saturniidae Collection

Images of the following Saturniidae from around the world, predominantly South America, have recently been sent to me by Bernhard Wenczel and Viktor Suter of Switzerland. This section features images of live moths and larvae.

With their ongoing rearing programs, additional images will be uploaded on a timely basis. Bernhard does much of the rearing; Viktor does most of the photography.

Bernhard Wenczel and colleagues have published descriptions of many new species in 2005. Images of these live, recently described moths will be posted on this site as they become available.
