Jean Haxaire indicates Adhemarius dariensis often has the scalloped outer margin so evident in the very fresh specimen image supplied by Nicoline.

Adhemarius dariensis probably broods continuously.
Adhemarius dariensis larvae probably feed upon Ocotea veraguensis, Ocotea atirrensis and Ocotea dendrodaphne.
