DISTRIBUTION:

Trogolegnum pseudambulyx flies in Mexico (specimen type locality). It has been taken in the states of Mexico, Hidalgo, Durango, Michoacan, Puebla, Tlaxcala, and ??Guerrero Mill??

The forewing am band is complete from the inner margin to the upper edge of the costa. The hindwing black accentuation of wing veins is linear and complete.

ECLOSION:

Pupae probably wiggle to surface from subterranean chambers just prior to eclosion.

SCENTING AND MATING:

Females call in the males with a pheromone released from a gland at the tip of the abdomen.
