If Eacles imperialis pini and Hyalophora columbia populations exist, they will probably be limited to northern portions of the state.
Anisota senatoria and Anisota stigma populations are probably limited to southern most counties; same for Automeris io.
Nashota L. Jones reports an Actias luna from Elmore (Lamoille County), July 6, 2003.
Ruth Holleran reports an Actias luna caterpillar cocooning after turning peach orange August 18, 2003, in Windsor County Vermont, a 1/4 mile from the Windham Co. line.
I believe other species are probably throughout the state. There simply are not many people reporting them.
An Eacles imperialis larva with white abdominal scoli (subspecies pini) is posted on BAMONA for Grand Isle County. I believe there are
also reportsof imperialis in both Crittendon and Addison counties. Those are probalby also of Eacles imperialis pini.
