When Dominique sent me these images, he
wrote in his email, "if we have the pleasure to get them
in the group." He also sent an accompanying text document as an
attachment which was truncated. Unfortunately my original post (copy and paste)
to this page came from the truncated attachment version and not from
Dominique's email text message where he clearly mentions the group.
My apologies for not catching the difference and for not originally
posting "in the group" as per Dominique's text message.
This hybrid is unknown and it will be very interesting to see if the team can successfully get the larva to cocoon and pupate and subsequently emerge.
It will also be interesting to see how close his prediction is to the live adults.
Dominique is working as part of a team of six individuals: Dominique Adés, Robert Lemaitre, Robert Vuattoux, Raymond Cocault, Robert Zaun and Steve Kohll. From four hybrid matings all six men have received eggs and are rearing larvae.
