CERANCHIA Butler, 1878

The Ceranchia genus belongs to the Saturniini tribe of Subfamily Saturniinae of Family Saturniidae. These moths fly on the large island of Madagascar, off the east coast of Africa.

Bouyer regards mangiferae, cribrelli, reticolens, mucida and cribricollis as synonyms of Ceranchia apollina. Rougerie maintains C. reticolens as a distinct species.
