The Imbrasia are members of the Bunaeini tribe of Subfamily Saturniinae, Family Saturniidae. These moths fly in Africa and surrounding islands.

There are many species listed on the internet as Imbrasia that properly belong in Pseudimbrasia or Gonimbrasia.

Thierry Bouyer recently divided the Gonimbrasia into two subgroups: Gonimbrasia (Gonimbrasia) and Gonimbrasia (Nudaurelia).

Rolf Oberprieler indicates affinis belongs with the Nudaurelia.

Visit the Gonimbrasia, Nudaurelia and Pseudimbrasia files to find "Imbrasia" species not listed here.
