RINACA OF THE WORLD

RINACA WALKER, 1855

Rinaca witti courtesy of Eric van Schayck.

Rinaca belongs to the Saturniini tribe of Subfamily Saturniinae, Family Saturniidae.

Rinaca is a subgenus of Saturnia, Schrank, 1802.

Caligula Moore, 1862 is senior objective synonym of Dictyoploca Jordan, 1911. The name Caligula was used in subjective synonymy to Rinaca Walker, 1855 as a subgenus of Saturnia Schrank.

Some of the species below are therefore included with Caligula.
