DISTRIBUTION:

The Adafroptilum coloratum moth (wingspan: males: 45-55mm; females: 54-60mm) flies in central eastern Tanzania, Africa.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Adafroptilum coloratum larval hosts are unknown.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE, PUPAE, COCOONS:

Eggs are deposited Larvae probably descend the host plant at pupation time and spin up a thin cocoon at the base of hostplants
