DISTRIBUTION:

Adafroptilum occidaneum (wingspan: males: mm; females: probably larger) flies in
Angola (Benguela), Dongo, 1461 m.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Moths are on the wing in December. There are probably additional flight months.

Adafroptilum occidaneum larval hosts are unknown.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE, PUPAE, COCOONS:

Eggs are deposited

Larvae probably descend the host plant at pupation time and spin up a thin cocoon at the base of hostplants.
