DISTRIBUTION:

Adelowalkeria flavoboliviana (wingspan: males: mm; females: mm) flies in
eastern Bolivia: Chuquisaca; La Paz; and Beni at elevations near 350-1000-1800m; and also in
Peru: Madre de Dios at 1200m.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Moths have been taken in November-December in Bolivia and in September in Peru and probably flies in other months.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Females "call" at night with an airbourne pheromone. Males fly into the night sky and pick up the scent witht their antennae.

EGGS, LARVAE AND PUPAE:

Larvae have well developed thoracic spines in the early instars. Pupation is in a subterranean chamber.
