DISTRIBUTION:

Agapema pelora flies in
Mexico:
Baja California Norte;
Baja California Sur; and
Sonora: Isla Tiburon: Punta Norte.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Moths are on the wing in November. Agapema pelora larvae feed on Condalia hookeri.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

EGGS, LARVAE, COCOONS AND PUPAE:

Eggs are deposited in large clusters on host plants. Gregarious larvae feed in large groups which become progressively smaller as larvae develop.
