DISTRIBUTION:
The Adafroptilum permixtum moth
(wingspan: males: 52mm; females: approx. 65mm)
flies in southwestern Tanzania.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:
Moths are on the wing in November.
Adafroptilum permixtum larval hosts are unknown.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:
EGGS, LARVAE, PUPAE, COCOONS:
Eggs are deposited
Larvae probably descend the host plant at pupation time and spin up
a thin cocoon at the base of hostplants
