DISTRIBUTION:

Antheraea tenggarensis (wingspan: males: 117mm (BG); females: ) flies in Indonesia. The type locality is given as Indonesia: Sumbawa (Prov. Nusa Tenggara Barat); Sumba (Prov. Nusa Tenggara Timur); Lombok.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Larvae probably feed on chestnuts and oaks.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Females attract the night flying males with an airbourne pheromone.
