DISTRIBUTION:

The Antheraea viridiscura moth flies in Indonesia: Sulawesi.

(Etymology: named after the darkly shaded greenish colouration of the new taxon.)

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Larvae probably feed on chestnuts and oaks.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Females attract the night flying males with an airbourne pheromone.
