Specimens have been taken in February, June, November-December, suggesting at least three broods annually.
Copaxa kaechi larvae probably feed upon avocado (Persea americana).
Most of the Copaxa brood continuously so I suspect kaechi would be on the wing every month of the year.

The species name, kaechi, is honourific for Horst Kaech, a friend of Ron Brechlin.
