DISTRIBUTION:

Ludia riekerti (forewing length: mm) (wingspan: males: mm; females: mm), flies in
Tanzania: Morogoro, Mikesse Hill, at elevations near 400m.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

There is a flight in March, and there may be additional flight months. The holotype was taken in March, 2008.

Larvae possibly feed on Vernonia.

The genus name Ludia is from the Latin and means "a player".

The species name "riekerti" is honourific for Andreas Riekert.
