DISTRIBUTION:

Orthogonioptilum adustum (wingspan: males: 55-68mm; females: larger) flies in Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo. The National History Museum reports it from Coquilhatville (Mbandaka) in DRC.

This moth is possibly the same as O. arnoldi, Hering, 1932.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

This moth flies in October and possibly earlier from April-June.
