DISTRIBUTION:
Orthogonioptilum andreasum
(wingspan: males: 54mm; females: larger) flies in
southwestern Congo: Sibiti (PD); and
Gabon: Estuaire and Ngounie (ALBCOL); and
possibly southern Equatorial Guinea (WO?).
The apex of the male forewing is rounded. The outer margin is only slightly
"hollowed out" under the apex. The ground colour is usually greyish-yellow
with a dark median area. The points of light (three to four on the forewing)
are relatively large and are circled with a greyish-orange/yellow.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:
This moth flies
in November and possibly earlier from April-June.
Orthogonioptilum andreasum larval hosts are unknown.
