DISTRIBUTION:

Orthogonioptilum kivuensis (wingspan: males: mm; females: mm) flies in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Natural History Museum website reports it from Kivu and Territoire de Masisi (Province of North Kivu, DRC).

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

This moth probably flies in January with a confirmed report in July and possibly in the fall.

Orthogonioptilum kivuensis larval hosts are unknown.
