DISTRIBUTION:

Orthogonioptilum loloense (wingspan: males: 45mm; females: larger) flies in
Gabon: Ogooue-Lolo: Pont du la Lolo, 40 km west of Lastoursville.

The male forewing is slightly falcate. The median area is brownish-ochre; the am and pm line are thin but distinct. The transverse line is weak. The points of lights are small to vestigial.

The hindwing is a uniform ochre.

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

This moth flies in May, with probable flights in July and in the fall.

Orthogonioptilum loloense larval hosts are unknown.
