DISTRIBUTION:

Saturnia (Rinaca) diversa flies in : Burma=Myanmar, (at the Yunnan border, ca. 10 km W Jiangao Shan), Kambaiti, 2000 m. Holotype: NRSS. male ?. 2.-8.IV.1934. formerly a Synonym of Caligula anna diversa Bryk, 1944

FLIGHT TIMES AND PREFERRED FOOD PLANTS:

Specimens have been taken in April. There are probably additional flight months.

Local host plants are unknown at this time.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Females extend a scent gland from the tip of their abdomens to "call" the males. Males use their antennae to hone in on the airbourne pheromone.
