Most, if not all, of Asuncion is part of the Gran Chaco region, which includes wide plains, swamps, dry or seasonally flooded savannas, marshes, salt flats and a great variety of dry forests and scrublands. I do not expect there will be great Saturniidae diversity in Asuncion. Those species which feed on mimosa, locust, acacia and shrubs are most likely to be found in Asuncion
