Bonnie Caruthers

Bonnie Caruthers of New Hampshire has a keen interest in lepidoptera and natural history.

Bonnie also has a special interest in "antiquated" books on lepidoptera, and has published articles on her rearing of Hemileuca lucina in New Hampshire.

She also rears some silkworms and hissing cockroaches, and she shares her home with an African frog, a bearded lizard, a cameleon and two cats.

A keen eye helps her spot larvae and cocoons "close to home".

This larva appears to have parasitic entry wounds in one green band, mid abdomen.
