Rainer Plontke sent the the following images of Epiphora bauhiniae larvae in the first four instars. Dates are for different larvae.

Larvae turn green with red scoli in final instar. The abdominal scoli are tipped with white, while the thoracic scoli are tipped with blue and white.

Rainer reports "because Ziziphus was not availabele, I tried Ceanothus impressus by recommendation of Robert Vuattoux. However, the larvae came to the fourth instar only. The German name of that plant is 'Zwergsäckelblume'."
